This little rabbit survived the winter in a neighborhood in Rantoul, Illinois. Probably dumped by someone who erroneously believed that domestic rabbits will be okay if they are turned loose.
She blended in fine with the snow, using a shed as shelter - and getting some alfalfa from a kind resident from time to time. But then the snow melted, and she was finally trapped and turned over to me, sucker - I mean rescuer of rabbits...
She's been spayed now and is looking for a good home.
